Jared Andrews is a educator and performer who has spent 6 years on staff for the 18 time world champion Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps and spent 11 years with the RCC Indoor and RCC fall marching programs where he served as caption head and arranger respectively from the years of 2006 to 2017. Jared has worked for Rhythm X and the Madison Scouts as teacher and battery consultant. Most recently, Jared was named as the Battery Caption Supervisor for Carolina Crown 2023.
Jared continues to write for Breakthrough Percussion, Lafayette HS, Seven Lakes HS, Adair County HS and Williamsfield HS and has written and taught for many other groups at many levels around the world including; the Oregon Crusaders, Dark Sky Percussion, Kidsgrove Scouts, Aliso Niguel SCPA class A champions, Kamehameha HS in Honolulu HI, Fishers HS and Fountain Valley HS. He has also served as a clinician in Japan, Hawaii, England, China and Malaysia.
Jared, a Zildjian, Vic Firth and Evans artist and is a graduate of the University of California at Riverside where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Music. Currently he is working on his Masters in Jazz Performance from the University of Louisville as well as his website jareddrums.com which will serve as a video library of philosophies, play-alongs and both marching and drum set content.
