Kelsey Dunn currently serves as Director of Bands at North Hardin High School in Radcliff, KY. At NHHS, she serves as the conductor of the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, administrator of the percussion program and is the director of the North Hardin Trojan Marching Band.
Prior to joining NHHS, Ms. Dunn led a multitude of high school percussion ensembles as an instructor or guest clinician in the state of Kentucky. She was an associate graduate conductor while pursuing her Masters of Music in Instrumental Conducting with Gary Schallart at Western Kentucky University. She assisted with major ensembles such as Western Kentucky University’s Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Wind Ensemble. She also served two years as WKU Big Red Marching Band’s Percussion Caption Head/Arranger. Ms. Dunn received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education-Percussion from Murray State University studying under John Fannin and Dennis Johnson.
Striving to be a leader in her field and community, Ms. Dunn is part of multiple organizations such as Percussive Arts Society, Kentucky Music Educators Association, National Association for Music Education and is a Sigma Alpha Iota alumna.
